Before even the London Korean Festival begun, I think I had fun just promoting beforehand. Like what can I say? Dancing, singing, free food, free t-shirts and an open top party bus? Come on! Who wouldn't wanna participate. Originally, when I signed up, I was thinking... Hmm... I happen to have a free day before my other volunteering starts, this looks cool, why not do it? Trust me, I have no regrets whatsoever aha. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the volunteering itself, but I'm sure we did a good job publicising on an open top party bus aha - let's be honest we made ourselves pretty noticeable with about 3 speakers blasting our K-Pop.
As for the festival, I don't really have much to say more that it can be expressed through the pictures and videos I have to upload of the event. Apologies for the delayed video uploads, they take so long to upload on YouTube and I have so much to upload at once.
The event was incredibly crowded with approximately 35,000 people attending especially with the famous Korean Pop group, f(x) performing at the event for free. The weather was hot and with so many people it didn't help if you were claustrophobic, and the sun was scorching in the sky. I remember leaving the festival seeing a few people burned from head to toe emphasised through the bright redness on their skin.
With fashion shows, to dance performances as well as the main event, f(x) performing, it wasn't an opportunity you could miss. Hopefully another event like this will come again.
