I don't really know where to begin with this... Honestly, there's so much to say and I don't know where to start it off.

As of the 14th of June 2016, I can finally say, it's been a year since I first started my blog. Thus making this my 1 year anniversary for my blog.

I believe, I've come a long way from when I first started this blog. The purpose of my blog was to share events around London because I loved travelling and with the addition of having a camera this helped me start my blog posts.

So let's rewind back in time?

My first blog was about MCM Expo 2015. Along with a friend I managed to go around the venue, enjoy snacks and food and even watch some League of Legends tournaments. Looking back at  my photos, even then my photography skills were quite limited. Back then I wasn't even too sure what kind of audience I was aiming my blog posts for... Whether to be formal or not? Casual or not?

Following on from my first post, I proceeded to blog about my experiences and eventually I even began promoting events throughout London. Some include the Eat Asia Night Market, back in November 2015. The event gave me an opportunity to have my own giveaway for my blog readers as well as experience a variety of foods at the night market. Something I personally enjoyed as a foodie myself!

As 2016 began, I think one of the biggest opportunities I managed to get was the HISTORY concert in February. Alongside promoting the event with promoters from France and Korea, I was also able to attend the event as Arpeggios Entertainment's own photographer. This gave me the opportunity to take photos of the concert with special access (I totally got a great view at the front!), take photos for the Meet & Greet and even work with HISTORY backstage. Furthermore, the next day I was even showing HISTORY around London with a friend - I'm sure there were quite a few people who wished to be in my place, right there and then aha!

This opportunity probably gave me one of the biggest boosts for my blog. My posts about HISTORY reached a total of over 2000 views which honestly it's such an achievement for me. I'm happy to even hear from people that they've read my blog but to know that I've reached probably over 2000 viewers all at once, worldwide, I was ecstatic!

And having a chance to meet idols who you've followed since their debut, that has to be one of the dreams that every fan wants in a lifetime - It doesn't mean I didn't stay professional whilst doing so. You can be a fan, but don't forget they are human beings too - And they were all lovely!

But since it's been a year, what am I planning to do for the future?

Well I actually have a lot in store. It just so happens I'll be doing a bit of travelling this summer, and my final exam is actually tomorrow, funnily enough. So I'm trying to dedicate this summer to give my readers the opportunity to read more, hopefully posting 2 blog posts at least a week. I've also got a lot of blog posts to be catching up over these months as I've been so busy with studies I haven't had a chance to write them all up.

As you guys know, this blog was originally dedicated to events but as it has been a year since I started this blog, I want to begin to expand my blog to feature other topics from fashion, to music and more. I've already started to begin to expand my blog as you can see from my posts about food places I've visited, recommended and reviewed! And I've also got some exciting opportunities ahead, which I hope to tell you guys later on - Don't want to spoil the fun now, right?!

Before I move onto my special 1 year anniversary giveaway, I want to just thank everyone. To everyone who walks up to me, talking to me about my blog in person, to those who have supported me and continue to support me, to all those who recognise my blog and enlighten me with their compliments. I just want to thank you. I am so grateful to hear such wonderful comments, and honestly I could cry right now just to know how much my blog has been read by people of the world.

If you haven't had a chance to read the reasons behind starting my blog, you can check out my about section on my blog below. It gives you guys a further insight to how I went about starting it.
Introducing my blog

But enough of these feels, it's time for me to reward you guys with an opportunity to win some prizes. I managed to get some assistance with LoveJojo who will be helping me out with today's giveaway! Thank you, LoveJojo, you're the best!

I managed to sort out a giveaway for 2 different prizes, meaning one lucky winner will be able to win both of these prizes!

The prizes up for grabs include:
- Kracie Popin' Cookin' DIY Candy Kit Painting Gummy Land
- Alpacasso "Tsum Tsum" Phone Screen Cleaner Cube Charm (White)

These gifts which I've chosen were handpicked by myself. Each of which have been picked for certain reasons. The popin' cookin kit has been something I've always enjoyed watching on YouTube. I love miniature designs and I love food so this is totally something which I had to include in this giveaway. And if you don't know already, I love TsumTsums, I currently have a collection of 5-6 TsumTsums at the moment varying in different sizes!

Thanks for entering if you have, and I hope to announce the winner by the 15th of July, so make sure to check back at this space for the winner! The winner will be contacted on the day and if there is no response within 24 hours, the winner will be redrawn. The giveaway will end on the 14th of July at 23:59 (GMT).

Thank you for reading, and I will hoping to be posting more frequently soon!

So, today is the day in which many people will be shopping for Black Friday sales, but straying away from my recent birthday blog posts, I thought I would review a recent event which I attended last Friday. Some of you may remember that I was advertising the Eat Asia Night Market event with a giveaway as well! But fortunately, as a blogger I received a staff card giving me the privilege to attend the event, for free!

I was actually rather surprised at the turnout, I expected more attending the actual event, but the amount of people at the event was constantly increasing. I was fortunate to be skipping the queues. If I'm honest, my friend and I went to the wrong location... We went to the building across the road from the event... And once we realised that the queue was for the event, we were pretty astounded.

Now onto the main focus of this event! The main reason why I was so interested about this event was the fact it was dedicated to food, specifically from Asia (although there happened to be an appearance of Mexican food, although I have no concern for it even so). If you don't know me, I'm honestly a food fanatic, you'll always see me taking pictures of all the food I eat with the DSLR camera... Trust me it's an interesting sight, especially when all eyes are on you holding a giant camera just to take a picture of a single dish...

If I'm honest, I'm pretty proud of the pictures I managed to take that day, I think each of the people I asked to take pictures of their food just smiled or laughed at me. I guess I could say I'm a very typical Asian aha. The one that made me sad though, was the fact I missed the opportunity of having one of the vendors pose for a picture holding their hand up with a peace sign! Unfortunately I was too slow, but it made me laugh that all the vendors were very welcoming.

The two dishes I opted on getting for myself included a Malaysian dish as well as a Japanese dish. Unfortunately I didn't consider whether the Malaysian dish would be spicy - unfortunately I'm not very good at eating spicy food, even the slightest taste of spice makes me squirm... I couldn't finish it so luckily I had my friend to finish it for me so the food wouldn't go to waste - that would have made me so distraught if I knew I was wasting food...

The Japanese dish, I bought was advertised near the corner of the event. The small boxes were arranged at the front of the event, and to be honest, Japanese food has to one of my favourite types of food available so of course I had to have a try! The dish I opted upon was the "oyako-don" which is described as "delicately simmered marinated chicken and onion omelette, garnished seaweed crisps and chive. For some reason, I was really full, but because the packaging was really convenient I was able to bring it with me home to eat. The Bubble Tea Magazine also provided us with bags at a separate stall which made it easier to carry food and other belongings around - especially if you didn't bring a bag yourself.

The other dishes available included the tempura don as well as the chicken-katsu don. I'm usually a big fan of chicken katsu but I thought I would try another Japanese dish whilst I had the chance! And I don't regret my choice. I was really lucky that the vendor only charged me £4 for the oyako-don rather than the displayed £5 - maybe it was my lucky day aha!

Another thing which brought me to the night market was the fact they offered a unique dish which I've heard much about but didn't think they would have it available in the UK. Some of you may recognise this dish, known as the ramen burger. It looked interesting however at £7 per burger, quite a few of us were wondering if it was really worth the price...

Moving onto desserts, I remember trying out Hong Kong waffles in Chinatown, and I was really pleased to know they offered them at the event. However, at this event they offered more varieties whilst in Chinatown they were limited to normal flavoured Hong Kong waffles or nutella flavoured ones. I wish I had more room in my stomach to eat, they looked delicious, and despite not having a sweet tooth, they did look incredibly appealing - plus from past experiences I've always enjoyed the taste, and the texture is pretty original compared to the usual waffle styles.

The event had so much variety I wasn't even able to take the chance to try everything, if I had the money, the time and the stomach I would have honestly tried everything. From Korean chicken skewers to Japanese snacks to confectionaries, I'm really thankful for this opportunity.

Thank you for reading my blog post! Tune in to my next birthday updates - yes I'm still a post behind, and I have an upcoming birthday this Sunday... I'll aim to stay on top of the game, hope you enjoyed reading it and looking at the pictures - I know a lot of people who were regretting missing this event or not knowing about this opportunity because honestly the variety was unbelievable!

The Eat Asia Night Market is coming for the first time to the UK. Hosted by the Bubble Tea Magazine, which happens to be London's one and only bilingual food magazine, this event should be a worthwhile experience.

So what are the details for the event?
Date: 20th November 2015
Time: Session 1 (12:00-3:45PM), Session 2 (4:15-8:00PM)
Location: Backyard Market, Bricklane London, E1 6QL

Well for starters, this event gives you the opportunity to experience various cuisines from different parts of Asia. From the Japanese ramen burger to Korean popcorn chicken to the Malaysian pancake. There are over 20 different available street stalls for you to have a taster of such exquisite dishes. What's not to like?

But not only is this event filled with food, you also get the opportunity to enjoy music, short films whilst possibly participating in cultural exchanges with others. Just a reminder that the payment for the ticket only covers the admission cost, but the price for food should be under £10 from street vendors.

Fortunately, I have been given the chance to giveaway 2 tickets for you and a friend to attend the first session of the Eat Asia Night Market from 12:00PM to 3:45PM. To enter, complete the details down below for a chance to win the tickets.
